Community Bible Study

Join Pastor Nate as he leads a study through the book of Daniel each Wednesday night in the worship center. Together we will discover how Daniel and his exiled friends beckon us to follow King Jesus as they walked by faith and not by sight in a foreign land.

Ladies’ Transformation Bible Study – 1 Peter: A Living Hope In Christ

1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilson is a hands-on, verse by verse, in depth study of the book of 1 Peter. The study, led by Anca Martin, will help women fall in love deeply with studying God’s Word, discover the richness of God’s precepts, offer countercultural perspective beyond the current circumstances into a future inheritance of our loving hope, guide through current trials and sufferings, and shape the Christ-like character in each of us.

With All Dude Respect: Manly Virtues Rightly Directed

In this class we will discuss character virtues that define manhood. We will look at the theological and practical significance of virtues like courage, perseverance, and humility and how these virtues impact the family, the church, and society.

Habits of Grace: Enjoing Jesus through the Spiritual Disciplines

Three seemingly unremarkable principles shape and strengthen the Christian life: listening to God’s voice, speaking to him in prayer, and joining together with his people as the church. Though often viewed as normal and routine, the everyday “habits of grace” we cultivate give us access to these God-designed channels through which his love and power flow-including the greatest joy of all: knowing and enjoying Jesus.

Explore Missions

Join us for a 6-week intensive, yet rewarding exploration of missions from the Scripture, as we think about today’s world and our church. Participants will work through 5 sections each week on their own and then gather for a discussion and prayer on Wednesday nights.

Uncomfortable: The Awkward and Essential Challenge of Christian Community

We live in an age where everything is about giving us, the consumer, what we want when we want it in the most comfortable  and convenient way. Far too often, we bring our comfortable consumerism into the church as we look to find the “perfect church,” which is really the church where we are Lord. Yet , the church is a people over whom Jesus is Lord, and this reality calls us to forsake our consumeristic church mentality and to welcome an uncomfortable faith centered on an uncomfortable cross together  with an uncomfortable community.

Veritas Student Ministry – “Follow”

Join us for our next series called “Follow” as we discover the contours of what it means to be a bold disciple of Jesus. Through this series, we will explore the joys and costs of growing as disciples, along with the implications that biblical discipleship has for disciple-making.
